Al is a most kind and sweet man who recently found himself changed in the blink of an eye from a robust, hard working man into a quadriplegic, dependent upon help for the most basic of life’s daily chores: eating, bathing, brushing a fly from his face.  It’s a tragedy that defies explanation but must be accepted and coped with by both him and his loving wife. 

I gripe and complain about my trivial annoyances in life but at the end of the day I can still go home, cook dinner and feed myself.  This kind and wonderful man needs help 24/7 for the rest of his life for something as simple as well, EVERYTHING!
