How do I start shopping at Shari Shops?

When you locate a web site on Shari Shops where you would like to shop, just click on the link or the banner and you will be directed to that site.   That's it!  The merchant provides the affiliate referral information back to Shari Shops - you just make your purchase as you normally would!

How does shopping at Shari Shops benefit a worthy cause?

After you make your purchase, the merchant reviews the order and sends a percentage of the proceeds to Shari Shops.  It is a referral fee usually based upon a percentage of the total order.  Each merchant has different agreements with their affiliate members such as Shari Shops.

Shari Shops then gives 70% of those proceeds to a very worthy cause.  The remaining 30% is used to offset the taxes and expenses of maintaining this site. 97% of the funds donated directly through the PayPal account are given to the worthy cause. Pay Pal deducts approximately 3% for use of their services.

Do items cost more if I start shopping at Shari Shops?

No, the referral fee paid by the merchant is never added on to the cost of your purchase.  It is just another form of advertising for the merchant. 

Is any part of my shopping tax deductible? If I make a donation, is it tax deductible?

The answer to both questions is no, neither Shari Shops, the merchants, or the recipient of the donations is a charitable organization by IRS standards so no deduction can be made on your taxes for purchases or contributions.

If I want to return an item I purchased or have questions about my purchase, who do I contact?

You should always contact the merchant you purchased from for all returns or questions.  Shari Shops only maintains a referral relationship with each affiliate merchant and can offer no assistance regarding any purchases.
